Measuring 12”x 9.6”, the AIMB-740-6CB1 is a highly integrated platform built for robust industrial computing. The AIMB-740-6CB1 supports Intel® Pentium® 4/Celeron® D/Mobile Pentium 4-M processors with speeds of 2.6 GHz to 3.06 GHz and L2 cache up to 512K. Using the Intel 845GV chipset, the AIMB-740-6CB1 features Hyper-Threading (HT) technology which executes two calculations concurrently, enabling multi-tasking applications. The AIMB-740-6CB1 can deliver a wide memory bandwidth with a 400/533 MHz front side bus and offers a maximum memory capacity of 2 GB for DDR 266/333 SDRAM. To offer a cost-effective graphics solution, the AIMB-740-6CB1 supplies an integrated VGA graphics controller, supported by up to 64 MB of system memory, saving the expense of an add-on graphics card.
This 845GV chipset-based platform extends the Pentium 4 processor capabilities with rich expandability. Five 32-bit/33 MHz PCI slots support the most current expansion devices. The AIMB-740-6CB1 is equipped with 6 serial ports and up to 6 high-speed USB ports. These standard features offer super flexibility for connecting external drives/flash, keyboard, mouse and other peripherals. Additional features include two on-board, programmable 8-bit GPIO headers with 4 for GPI and 4 for GPO.
